The CEQ Safe LB-480 takes everything that makes CEQSAFE’s heavy-duty LB fireproof series great and builds it into a taller, slimmer tower. At 480mm high but only 370mm wide, it fits easily into wardrobes, cupboards, and narrow corners while offering more vertical storage than a cube-shaped safe. It is rated for 2 hours of fire resistance at 1024°C, built with 55mm fire-resistant walls and a 40mm fire-resistant door, and secured by six 30mm solid steel bolts, the strongest bolt configuration in CEQ’s compact LB range. Add an inner drawer, a removable shelf, and an LCD digital code lock with a backup emergency key, and you have a safe built to protect the things you can never replace.

Six 30mm Steel Bolts: Maximum Locking Strength

The number of bolts in a safe makes a real difference to how hard it is to force open. The LB-480 uses six 30mm solid steel locking bolts, more than the four on the LB-430 and triple the two found on many compact home safes. When the door closes, the bolts lock deep into the frame, spreading the force across the door and making prying, levering, and drilling attempts far more difficult.

2-Hour Fire Rating at 1024°C

CEQSAFE rates the LB-480 for up to 120 minutes of fire protection at temperatures reaching 1024°C. That is double the protection of standard 1-hour safes and gives your documents and valuables a much better chance of surviving a serious fire, especially in buildings where fires can spread or take longer to bring under control. The thick 55mm fire-resistant body and 40mm fire-resistant door slow heat transfer dramatically, helping keep the interior cool enough to protect paper, cash, and certificates.
