The IntelliFAX-2840 is equipped with a 250-sheet capacity paper tray for letter or legal size paper and a single-sheet manual feed slot for envelopes or thicker media. The 2840 also has a 20-page capacity auto document feeder for sending faxes and making copies, up to legal size. With a fax-page memory of up to 400 pages, this machine also allows you to store faxes to memory and program transmission for a later time.

Receive Faxes and Voice Calls on the Same Telephone Line

The Intellifax 2840 is capable of receiving fax and voice calls on the same telephone line which saves the expense of separate phone lines. Additionally, it includes a built-in telephone handset for voice calls. It is equipped with a variety of useful features that can help reduce time and increase productivity:

• Remote Fax Retrieval allows you to access your fax messages from any telephone or fax machine by using a remote access code.
• Broadcasting lets you automatically send the same fax message to multiple fax numbers simultaneously, up to 272 locations.
• Dual Access enables you to scan a fax into memory while another message is being sent or received.
• This fax machine includes a Hi-Speed USB 2.0 interface to connect to your computer for up to 21ppm laser printing. It also has a ‘TAD’ (telephone answering device) interface for connecting an external phone or answering machine.
